2023 Fisker Ocean – The production of the Ocean is scheduled to begin at the end of November 2022. There are still nine months before Fisker will launch the first electronic crossover Fisker has announced that it will launch a second model, the Pear will be available in 2024. The company has stated that it will begin at $29,000.
2023 Fisker Ocean Redesign
The name refers to Personal Electric Automotive Revolution. It’s a small, five-passenger, and compact crossover that will be placed just below it the Ocean in Fisker’s line-up. Fisker promises “intuitive controls, sporty driving, clever storage, and a focus on industry firsts.”
While the Ocean will be constructed through Magna Steyr of Austria, Fisker is partnering with Taiwanese electronics maker Foxconn to build the Pear. Foxconn will construct the Pear in Ohio at the Lordstown Assembly facility that Foxconn bought last fall. Foxconn is also slated to create an electronic Lordstown Endurance pickup truck at the Ohio factory.
2023 Fisker Ocean Debut
Fisker states that production from the Pear will start in 2024 and will have an initial minimum of 250,000 units annually. Fisker has begun offering reservations to the Pear and those interested must pay $250 for their first reservation, and $100 for a subsequent reservation later.
