2024 Kia Seltos – Kia posted pictures of the Seltos to be sold in the Korean market. Kia shared photos of the Seltos designed for the Korean market, which showcase new exteriors as well an entirely new interior. Although we do not know U.S. specifics yet, we’re sure of the fact that these changes are likely to be implemented within North America in the near future. Kia has released information on the mainly carried-over 2023 Seltos and this is the reason why we believe the changes will be implemented in 2024.
2024 Kia Seltos Changes
The changes in appearance that have been introduced to the small SUV, which has a common platform as the base of the Hyundai Kona is pleasing to the eye. The Kona is presented with a two-tone exterior that features an ethereal blue body with an eerie roof. The most recent design features a new daytime running light as well as its grille is elevated. On the back, the car is now equipped with the most striking light bar which extends across the entire length and width of the car and the taillights have been updated too.
Interior
Inside the interior, the interior was refreshed with brand new display screens that look identical to the screens that were used in earlier Kia models. The gauge cluster with an LCD display that is located on its left is identical to the infotainment screen to the right. We also observed the appearance of an upside-facing screen as well. The brown leather we’ve seen may be part of an upholstery’s color scheme and ambient lighting is an option. A shifter that’s designed to be rotary replaces the lever used for gears however we’re not certain what time it’ll be added to our U.S. version.
2024 Kia Seltos Release Date & Price
As it is awaiting a new model in 2024 to be available in the U.S., the 2023 Seltos is equipped with features Kia claims are superior to sound deadening, as in additional security features. The price for the 2023 Seltos is $24,185. The model for 2024 could be a little more expensive by just a few dollars once it goes on sale.
Engine
The Seltos comes with the standard engine which is a naturally-aspirated 2.0-liter inline-four engine that produces the horsepower of 146 horses, or a Turbocharged 1.6-liter inline-four engine that generates 175 horsepower. Our tests showed that both turbo Seltos could achieve 30 mpg in the highway speed fuel-economy test, which was 75 km/h. test.
