2024 Chevy Silverado EV Trail Boss – Chevrolet’s latest Silverado electric pickup was recently announced and includes a feature that isn’t yet available. Ford F-150 Lightning does not yet feature an off-road-focused version. Like the gasoline-powered Silverado, it also has an electric one. Silverado EV will come with a Trail Boss off-road model.

Chevrolet hasn’t revealed any other details about the Silverado EV Trail Boss other than the photos above, which indicate that it’ll sport a black exterior with a matte finish, and red tow hooks that are located at both ends of the. The Silverado EV is available with 24-inch wheels, however, you could find that this Trail Boss will have smaller distinctive black wheels on all-terrain wheels. You can expect a more powerful suspension as well as regular air springs, and locking differentials (the GMC Hummer EV has two electric motors in the rear of its axle, which mimics a locking differential as well as the option of locking the front axle.) It may also have the Hummer’s Crab Walk feature, too.
Engine
The Silverado EV isn’t equipped with its underpinnings with the gas model it is an extended version of GMC Hummer’s Ultium platform. It has a 200.0-kWh battery pack and 2 electric motors. One for each axle capable of delivering up to 780 lbs of torque, using a distinct launch-control setting. Its advertised range is 400 miles, but anticipate its Trail Boss model’s range to be lower because it’s an all-terrain rubber.
