2023 Ford Maverick Tremor – The Tremor package is only available with the upgraded 2.0-liter EcoBoost turbo four-cylinder engine, which is standard on both the XLT and the Lariat versions (250 hp, 277 lb-ft). The Tremor lineup has an updated all-wheel-drive system that is equipped with a twin-clutch locking rear differential. In addition, Tremors come with five different drive modes that can be selected, as well as a feature called Trail Control.
Trail Control functions similarly to cruise control when it comes to off-road crawling; the vehicle handles inputs for the throttle and brakes in order to keep a consistent speed regardless of the terrain. In addition to the one-inch suspension elevation, Tremors have other upgrades, including a heavy-duty gearbox cooler, stronger half-shafts, special springs and shocks, a higher-clearance lower fascia, and steel skid plates.
2023 Ford Maverick Tremor Specs
The Maverick Tremor has a payload capacity of 1,200 pounds, which is somewhat lower than the payload capacity of other Maverick models, including the front-drive hybrid variant. Other Maverick models, including those with all-wheel drive but not the Tremor, have a payload capacity of 1,500 pounds. Because the “4K Tow Package” is not an available option for the Tremor, the greatest amount of weight that can be towed by this off-road sub-model is limited to 2,000 pounds. This is one of the most perplexing aspects of this model. We have contacted Ford to inquire about the reason why the Tremor cannot be purchased with the towing option, and if they provide us with an explanation, we will include it in our post.
Blacked-out logos, smoked headlights and taillights, a one-of-a-kind matte gray grille with yellow accents, and, of course, bright yellow front tow hooks are all included in the Tremor package. Carbonized Gray accent paint on the roof and mirror caps, in addition to black graphics on the hood and doors, are included in the optional Tremor Appearance Package; however, Ford did not provide us with any photographs that depict what this package looks like in action.

2023 Ford Maverick Tremor Release Date & Price
You may add an extra $3,000 to the cost of your Maverick by purchasing the Tremor Off-Road Package, while the Tremor Appearance Package can be purchased for an additional $1,500. The order books were closed for a moment, but Ford will start collecting orders for new Mavericks again in September. At that time, you will be able to place an order for your 2023 Maverick Tremor.
