Limited to 500 copies The special edition is inspired by the 2023 BMW M3 Competition xDrive and its marquee features are the exclusive paint colors which it is available. To celebrate the tradition of the company The colors were selected from the M3s of previous generations. It will come available as Cinnabar Red, which honors the E30 M3 as well as Techno Violet, to evoke the E36 M3; and in Deep Interlagos Blue, which was taken from the E46 M3 as well as with Fire Orange III that was used in the special version Lime Rock Park Edition of the E92 M3; and lastly, in Limerock Grey, as a comparison in that of the F80 M3 CS. The model also has the carbon fiber front-splitter, and signature M quad tailpipes, trimmed with titanium and carbon fiber, as well as the trunk lid spoiler is made from carbon fiber that matches the carbon roof of the carbon. To pay homage to its predecessors, this special edition features Classic BMW M Motorsport logos on the trunk, the hood and wheel center caps , instead of the typical BMW roundels. The logo is comprised of semi-circles that are staggered with blue, navy and red. It recalls that of the BMW M GmbH logo that was first introduced on race cars in 1973.
When they enter the car, guests will be welcomed by “Edition 50 Jahre BMW M” in the lettering across the sills of their doors and it’s displayed on an aluminium plaque that is placed on the cupholder’s cover. The plaque also has the production number which marks it as being one of 1/500 made. Drivers will be held securely in place during hard corners because of regular M Sport seats, though the M Carbon bucket seats are also available, and are covered in Black Extended Merino leather, an exclusive alternative that is only available for this particular model. Whichever seat you choose the stitching will be unique to this model, and will feature 3 colors for M. M logo.

The vehicle will also come with BMW’s latest curving display screen ( an option for the entire line of 2023 M3s) and 8th generation version of BMW iDrive. The configuration combines the 12.3-inch instrument cluster in front of the steering wheel with an 14.9-inch information display screen that seems to be comprised of a single piece that extends all the way across the instrument panel. The feature has previously been viewed in Europe however this marks the first time that it will be available in America. U.S. market this year. The car will be sold in one model, that includes an Executive Package, Parking Assistance, Icon Adaptive LED Laserlights Carbon-fiber interior trim wireless charging for devices along with the M Shadowline headlights.
